Sacred Heart Katrina Bulletin Board
Sacred Heart School Takes in Kids...Needs Help Sacred Heart Church and School is located aproximately 60 miles from the Gulf Coast which suffered a devastating blow from Hurricane Katrina on August 29. Many of the Catholic schools in the gulf region have been destroyed or seriously damaged. Although Sacred Heart school suffered major damage to its roof and campus, the school re-opened for classes on Monday, September 19. We have taken in 80-100 Catholic students from New Orleans and the Gulf Coast tuition free so the families can work to put their lives back together. Please consider a donation to help us offset the cost of helping these students.
