Pastoral Council
Family Life Ministry
The Family Life Ministry, with the help of part-time staff and volunteers, facilitates the spiritual growth and development of all Sacred Heart families by identifying, developing, and administering ministries and activities to meet the diverse needs of families across all age levels in support of the parish mission.
Social Justice Ministry
In support of our parish mission, the Social Justice Ministry implements Catholic social teaching in the daily lives of our community through education and training in the seven tenets of Catholic social teaching; practical outreach to those in need; and appropiate works, advocacy, and solidarity with the people of God.
Finance and Adminstration Ministry
The mission of the Finance and Adminstration Ministry is to develop, maintain and monitor sound financial practices for all parish operations and facilities needs in concert with the pastor and all parish ministries. These practices include short and long term financial needs planning with regular periodic accounting to the parish.
Religious Education and Youth Ministry
The purpose of the Religious Education and Youth Ministry is to foster growth by developing contemporary and relevant ways of teaching and forming our youth in the Roman Catholic faith and traditions, thereby increasing a love and participation in school, church, and community service.
Stewardship and Development Ministry
The Stewardship and Development Ministry reflects a Eucharistic people of prayer, dedicated disciples of Jesus Christ, who are committed to a stewardship way of life. Our purpose is to energize the parishioners of Sacred Heart Parish toward a path of total discipleship.
Liturgy and Spiritual Life Ministry
The purpose of the Liturgy and Spiritual Life Ministry is to explore ways to help enrich the public and personal spiritual experience of the parishioners of Sacred Heart. In doing so, we can grow as a community to the full stature of Christ and be empowered to reach out to others in love and service.
Hispanic Ministry
The Hispanic Ministry Committee (HMC) will serve as a bridge to promote intercultural unity at Sacred Heart Parish and raise sensitivity of other minorities in our membership. Bilingual / bicultural outreach to the immigrant, worship and catechesis in Spanish, joint functions to promote parish fellowship, shared ministries such as justice and education, and an ongoing overall parish formation and will be the major goals of this ministry.
Facilities Ministry
The Facilities Ministry provides input, guidance, oversight and available expertise to the Pastor, Pastoral Council and School administrators on the entire physical plant of the parish and school. We are involved with facility maintenance, contractor solicitation and performance, and when possible perform routine maintenance tasks to conserve parish resources.
