Fr. Ken Ramon-Landry Pastor Fr. Ken's Homilies Fr. Ken comes to us from Our Lady of Perpetual Help in Lumberton and St. Joseph's in Poplarville where he has served since 1998. He has also served in Laurel, Waynesboro, Ocean Springs, Bay St. Louis and Pass Christian as seminarian, deacon, intern and "baby priest." He is a Biloxi native though he was born in Honolulu, Hawaii to Bud and Joy Landry on Dec. 11, 1954. His dad died in 1988, shortly after he became a priest in Jan. 1987. He had the privilege of honoring him with a Christian burial. He mother later married his dad's brother and now lives in Vancleave, MS. He has 3 sisters who are living and 6 brothers, "2 who adopted us and a great number of nieces, nephews and a few great nieces and nephews." He has numerous degrees including: BS in Pre-Professional Psychology with minor in Religious Studies, History and Philosophy, and a BA degree in Spanish from USM. Another BA degree in Church Music and Liturgy from St. Joseph College in Rensselaer, IN. A Masters degree from Oblate School of Theology in San Antonio, TX. And the time demands of his ministry took him away from his Pre-Doctoral paper. He also serves as adjunct faculty member at St. Joseph Seminary-College. His hobbies include playing piano, composing music, gardening and reading (several books a month on theology, psychology and ministry supervision). |

Warren Goff Deacon Deacon Warren Goff comes to us from Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Pascagoula. He said,"The best thing about me is my wife, Nancy." In Pascagoula, Deacon Goff was the DRE, in charge of RCIA, CYO, and the youth ministry. He did hospital visits, baptisms, and funerals. For 20 years he and Nancy have worked on SEARCH with the diocese. Through this program he has met many of our youth and through Cursillo has met many of our parishioners. In his spare time, he holds down a full time job. He loves what he does and always falls in love with the people of the parish. Deacon Goff said he is so glad to be here ... and we are so blessed to have him. |
Tom LeBlanc Deacon Deacon Tom LeBlanc was ordained on June 23, 1993 (the date of his wife's birthday). He served at St. Francis in Wiggins for 4 years before transferring to St. Elizabeth Seton in Ocean Springs. At. St. Elizabeth, he monitored a Bible Discussion Group on Sunday morning, taught RCIA for four years, a Holy Hour Group with Rosary, Chaplet of Mercy and Benediction. For two years he was also an Office Manager at the church. Deacon Tom said, "I love Jesus, people and my church. I am the good looking Deacon. May God bless everyone." |
